Our client is an enterprise SaaS scaleup that has doubled revenues year over year for the last two years. Having completed their Series A in 2021, the company now has over 70 employees who are all UK-based.
Part of their continued expansion means they’re looking for an experienced enterprise account executive to join the existing sales team.
Large company finance directors and CFO’s are increasingly focused on driving departmental efficiencies and reducing costs, and our client sells a SaaS solution that transforms how they do this.
Your overall responsibility is to generate and close sales with enterprise companies (£5bn revenues+).
SDR: work with the SDR team and convert leads they provide
Business development: be responsible for generating your own pipeline (30%)
Solution selling: using the MEDDIC framework, manage the end to end sales process
Demo: give demonstrations of the solution to prospects
Pipeline management: manage your sales pipeline and forecast deals
Experience in an enterprise sales role where you’ve closed business
Experience selling to CFO’s
Track record of using sales frameworks like MEDDIC
Degree educated
What are the deal sizes?
Their ACV is between £100k to £150k with deals often being multi-year.
How long is the sales cycle?
6 – 9 months.
What’s the ratio of SDR’s to AE’s?
1:1
What sales tools does the team use?
Hubspot CRM, Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Outreach, and currently exploring deal rooms.
What is the quota?
10 times your salary.
How is the bonus paid?
You’ll earn 10% on all revenue generated, paid at the end of the quarter you close the deal in.
Is there a ramp?
Yes, during the first quarter.
Are there kickers over 100% of target?
The Head of Sales will be introducing these in 2025.
I have children and can’t commit to 3 days in the office; is there flexibility?
There is flexibility for the right candidate, but 2 days would be the minimum requirement.
What is the interview process?
3 stages: 30 minute video call with HoS, 1 hour video call with CEO and HoS with a discovery task, final culture interview face-to-face
