Marketing Assistant Job Description
We’re looking for a Marketing Assistant to support our marketing and communication activities. This role will involve a variety of activities including:
Responsibilities of the Marketing Assistant
- Helping our team with the digital marketing strategy and implementation.
- Develop content and manage a calendar of regular social media posts to support campaigns and wider company brand awareness.
- Be the administrative point of contact for our agency and help them find assets, e.g., logo’s, brand identity files, etc.
- Launching new communication campaigns.
- Supporting other marketing and communication projects with copywriting and content creation.
- Setting up and executing ad campaigns on different platforms with support from our digital marketer.
- Proofreading articles and other communications content.
- Assign inbound and referred leads within the CRM to the relevant sales people.
- Event planning support: support for managing events, setting up calls, research stage support, event evaluation support, reporting, and analysis.
- General administration as required.
Marketing Assistant Requirements
- Either a marketing degree or some marketing experience in a full-time job.
- Experience using Google Docs, Canva, Photoshop, or similar to create marketing assets while following brand guidelines.
- Experience of updating content on websites via a CMS.
- Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English.
